Tall, scaly-capped parasol, often reaching 25 cm. Explicitly cited by the Bos management as a characteristic species of the verges (bermen) in early autumn. Saprotrophic on disturbed grassy ground. Note: not currently in the waarneming.nl dataset for the Bos under that exact name — likely recorded under varietal names by individual observers.
