The fast-growing pioneer of the 1934 planting plan. Triangular leaves, flattened petioles. Many of the original specimens are now 60–80 years old and entering their natural limb-shedding age — they are being felled for safety as the Bos transitions to a more diverse canopy under the Bosplan 2020–2030.
