The arrival of the saprotrophic guild. First Bos observation in 2008 — when the original 1934–1970 plantings had matured to about 74 years and dead wood was finally beginning to accumulate under the Bosplan's deadwood-retention policy. Now 588 observations: the most common bracket fungus in the Bos. The dead-wood economy did not exist when the Bos was young.
